History of the School
Beginning and the establishment.
- The school was established in a temporary building at " Karagasthalawa Shailagangarama Raja Maha Vidyalaya" according to the guidance of Reverent Nawulle Dhammananda Thero on 19-04-1957.
- The school was declared as a government school in 1962.
- It was taken to a new place (present place) at 1972.
- After 2000, the school has been become a leading school of this area because of the best result of grade 5 scholarship examination and at 2013 one student won the island level second place.
- Got the facilities of electricity science laboratory, shrine room etc... after 2000.
